Hydrogen pressure transducer
Trust our Hydrogen compatible pressure sensors to accompany you in your most innovative projects.
Hydrogen has been widely used for a long time but its use remains unknown to the general public. Indeed, it is almost exclusively used in the chemical and petrochemical industries. However, new projects are appearing in the energy sector, notably for Mobility and Energy Storage.
Hydrogen-powered vehicles are part of this dynamic and create new perspectives in the transportation industry: automotive, rail and aeronautics. The use of hydrogen for mobility is today technically possible based on fuel cells that produce electricity.
EFE also has solutions for other very specific fluids found in the energy sector, such as tritium or UF6 (uranium hexafluoride).
Our flagship product
PHA220
PHA220 pressure transducer will accompany your “Hydrogen” projects by offering excellent performances in extended pressure ranges from 10 to 700bar. The pressure connection and the measuring element are one and the same part, made of a stainless-steel compatible with hydrogen and without any intermediary (neither seal, nor oil). The sealing function is included in this “monobloc” technology, guaranteeing the reliability of your measurements and the safety of your process. This sensor has also been qualified according to RTCA DO 160.
